Solo Acoustic Demo

Scott Lewis has been performing for audiences since the mid 1970's as a solo artist or with various duos, trios and bands. He has toured regionally through the Midwest and has been the guitarist on several recordings for other artists. Since 2003 Scott has lead his own band, "The Scott Lewis Band" with some of the best talent Michigan has to offer and ranging from a 3-piece power trio to a six-piece outfit. Incorporating a wide variety of music genres, including Rock, Country, Americana, Blues & more.
Mid 2020 and the advent of COVID-19, as the world of 'LIVE' entertainment was shutting down, Scott was one of the lucky ones performing regularly as a solo acoustic artist in a local private club that was able to remain open through most of the pandemic and still performed in residency at that particular club for over 5 years. This is how an artist's repertoire gets huge and Scott's song list is constantly growing with both covers and original compositions.
Currently Scott performs as both a solo artist and with his band, The Scott Lewis Band. Performing original material as well as covers from the 1950's through today. Although based in Southeast Michigan, these days you may find Scott performing just about anywhere in the Midwest.
The Scott Lewis Band
Currently the Scott Lewis band is Scott Lewis on Guitar and vocals, Russ Cardona playing bass guitar and vocals and Terry Lynch on drums and vocals. Russ has been a long-time member of the band providing a solid foundation for the band. Terry came to the band recently but there is history between Terry and Scott. Both were previously in Big Smooth & the Hell Raisers, a high energy blues project that performed in festivals all over the region.

The Scott Lewis Band's 2004 album Louisiana Rain, features an assortment of original music with a couple of covers and a couple demo recordings thrown in on a later reissue. The album was self-produced, self-engineered and self-released. It was entirely done on a portable recording deck in the band's rehearsal studio in Pontiac, Michigan in 2004.
